Cornelius Lewenberg

Cornelius Lewenberg studied at the Karlsruhe University of Music with Prof. Röhlig, Prof. Höll and Prof. Shirai. He made guest appearances at the Pforzheim, Mannheim and Darmstadt theaters. He received prizes from the Baden Cultural Fund, the Schloss Rheinsberg Chamber Opera and the Bad Orb Opera Academy. From 2016 to 2021 he was part of the ensemble of the Schwerin State Theater. Recently he sang at the Komische Oper Berlin, at the Munot Opera Games and the Zwingenberg Castle Festival. He gave recitals, among other in Vienna, London, Newcastle and Berlin with Schubert's Die Schöne Müllerin and Winterreise as well as songs by Schumann and other composers. He is currently engaged at the Hamburg Chamber Opera.
Walewein Witten
Pianist
Walewein Witten studied harpsichord and fortepiano in The Hague and piano in Utrecht.
As a harpsichordist he worked with the Utrecht Baroque Consort, The London Bach Players and Ensemble Anima e Corpo, with conductors such as Ton Koopman, Andrew Manze, Cristian Curnyn, Konrad Junghänel, and Hans-Jörg Albrecht. He is currently a harpsichordist with the Lauttencompagney Berlin
under Wolfgang Katschner. As a pianist, he is a popular partner for chamber music in various ensembles and as a song accompanist. From 2005 to 2014 as a repetiteur/bandmaster at the theaters in Düsseldorf, Bremerhaven and Kassel. From 2018 to 2023 he was head of studies and assistant to the GMD at the Komische Oper Berlin.
